jsburl, MFA, is a hemorrhagic stroke survivor who lives in Northern NY. She loves her family, the mountains, dragon figurines, gardening, dragons, writing poetry and stories, oil painting, and animals large and small, and oh, were dragons mentioned? She lives with her dog Tippy, and finished her master's degree in Creative Writing in 2023. She was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta International English Society, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. She has been a journalist and won state and US competitions. Her first children’s book, "Tippy's New Friend", was released in 2023, the second, "Tippy Goes To California", being released this year. She is becoming a Life and Health Coach for Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury, their Caregivers and Loved Ones in March. She also has a Mid-Grade Mystery Adventure series in the works. The stroke took her mobility, but not her creativity. Her favorite thing to tell people is “Don't fight the journey, but sit back and enjoy the ride. Make every day an extraordinary day.”
